When Amber broke the side rail off her crib, I didn't know what I was going to do. Initially, I just thought I could use it as a toddler bed until the day I went to go in her room and couldn't get the door open because she had pulled her rocking horse in front of it. Amber is deaf, so I had to wait until she turned around so I could get her attention and have her pull the horse out of the way. If there had been a fire it would have been disastrous. I went to my friends dad, who I knew built furniture, and asked him if he could build me a "twin size safety bed" that would be sturdy enough to keep Amber safe all the way into adult hood. I got that and so much more with this bed. Amber loves the bed and when she signs sleep and goes over the her bed and climbs in, she pulls on the rail so I will put them up. My life is much easier knowing that I can go to sleep at night and Amber will be safe. The piece of mind this bed gives me is priceless. I can't thank you enough for building it.
